TFW Rosa and Stephanie are very different people

Oh yes, the past can hurt. But, you can either run from it or, learn from it.

I want to make sure I’m part of a generation that did better than the last, and to bring in the new generation and make sure that they do even better than we did. I don’t necessarily want people to know my name throughout history for the humanitarian things I did, but for them to know that if we all keep pushing forwards in a positive way, we can really make a change. - Maisie Williams for ASOS Magazine (2018)

it’s difficult to hear criticism from people you consider your peers and who you believe are on the same side. but, you know, i just carried on, and some of the stuff made me more thoughtful and questioning of my approach. but some of it you just have to not engage with, and you become more robust. and, of course, sometimes you just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all. feminism can be humorous, and we all have a different way of approaching that. i often wonder what mischief I can make to spread the word in a playful way. you can’t take everything in life seriously, can you?
It sounds like a ridiculous thing to say, but I’m very interested in truth, in finding ways to be messy and unsure and flawed and incredible and great and my fullest self, all wrapped into one.
